In the last 24 hours Austin has found his tongue ( or we assume thats what happened as he kept sticking it out at us last night!) and picked up and "played" with a toy! On Monday he had kind of reached for a toy--but I chalked it up to a fluke one time thing--but this morning as I sat holding him in my lap, sure enough he swung his arm over and over until it reached the toy and then grabbed hold of it and rattled it. He would let go and then do it again. Woo, hooo...he knows how to play with toys! =)
We have made it through almost 3 days of taking daddy to the train really early and its been OK. Austin has been a real trooper this week at work---I think he might be going through his 3 month growth spurt as all he is doing is nursing and sleeping during the day. We have two people out sick today so I am praying he does not catch it--please let those breastfed immunities be flowing strong!
This weekend we will be getting things ready for our trip to Arizona next week---we are SOOO excited!! I cant wait for all my family to meet and see Austin. It will be a quick and busy trip---but will be so wonderful for us to be able to share him in "person" with everyone.
No news on the motorcycle or other craziness that hit us this past weekend...I know...all in Gods perfect timing!

I can't keep the smile off of my face as I picture Austin sticking out his tongue. It is so much fun to watch when they start interacting with things and people around them.
These are the things I truly miss out on (and of course being able to help you guys out) when I live so far away. Thanks for the info. I really eat it up!
