Our Valentines 3 day event....

Our Valentines Day was actually a 3day event. Actually I guess it was a 4 day event since Austin had his first ever Valentines day party at school on Thursday. When I picked him up, he had a Valentines Bag--full of Valentines from his classmates, he had a Valentines card for us and he had his very first Valentines craft project!! I was so excited to get my first ever craft project from school! Shea thought I was a little silly--but I got all emotional over it! I know this is the first in a line of hundreds of crafts or "pictures" that Austin will bring home before he graduates HS---but because it was the first, it had so much meaning to me. Its definitely going in the "save" box!

Ok--so then on Friday we went to SMU to take daddy to his Valentines lunch. I started this last year and am really excited to make it a tradition! After our 45 minute drive there- Austin was a little shy and quiet. But once we got to the Mexican restaurant--he perked right up!

Saturday, Daddy had to work in the morning, so Mommy and Austin ran some errands and opened up a goody box from MeMaw and Papa Finney in Arizona.

Then Sunday--Shea and I took Austin to Jessica's and we went back to the house, had a quiet meal, wathced our DVR'd "Friday night Lights" and enjoyed the QUIET!!! We had a fun dinner of pizza...a heart shaped one!! Look--its was cute--and actually really good!
