Daddy and Austin went to Cabelas on Saturday while I went to lunch with a friend. They had fun---and we have the funniest video of Austin on his first true "sugar high!" Austin has not had much sugar in his short life so far--besides hi sbirthfay cake and she mini cookie he gets from the grocery store bakery each week when we go shopping--he just does not get much!
Well one of Shea's favorite things at Cabelas is their roasted pecans--they are coated in sugar and cinnamon and usually served hot. Shea said he was sharign them with Austin a little at a time--and the next thing he knew Austin had handfuls of them and was shoving them in his mouth! This video gives and idea of our kid on sugar---make sure your volume is up--his squeals and yells are crazy!! And now we know--keep the kid away from the pecans....

What a sweet boy aimlessly running around...I love it! Nothing wrong with a sugar rush every now and then because then there is a crash which should mean a nap for mommy and austin..love you friend...have a great week...

I think we are going to have a fresh crop of pecans around Thanksgiving. We need a high energy little leader around here to conquer & lead the raccoons and squirrels. Lord knows I'm not having much success at it.
