Ok...I did it!!!

Yesterday, Wednesday October 3rd, I submitted my resignation at APA effective Friday November 2nd, which is 4 weeks from now!!! I cant believe I really did it!
Thank you to everyone who prayed for us over the weekend. I think for the most part I am at a place of peace--of course I have my moments when I freak out every once in awhile and wonder what we are thinking =)

But then Austin will look up at me and smile or he will giggle at some thing and I quickly remember that this is why we are doing this and this is why we are going to make the sacrifices we are going to make.

I was very nervous when I told my boss(es), but it went well and was easier than I expected. I did communicate to them that I am open to some contract work on our website if they need that, but we will just see. I think it still does not seem quite real since I still have 4 weeks to go--and a lot to do in that time! I am sure reality will set in the farther along we get.

So this weekend is Texas Vs. OU weekend--a big weekend in the state of Texas! Its kinda of a sacred holiday at our house--and this year it also just happens to fall on Shea's birthday! We dont have any big plans--Shea likes to just watch the game with out any distractions, so we will do that and then have a special birthday cake! Also, a close friend of mine from Az (Leslie) is flying into town this weekend and we are hoping to spend some time together--so it will be a busy weekend!
We are also getting ready for Nana ( shea's mom!) to fly in in about 2 weeks, so lots going on!!

So-my big news was about my job and thats really what I wanted to share with you guys. This will be a continued prayer request for our family!
