Saturday morning we spent a nice morning at mom and dads. Saturday was also the first day of college football--so Shea was in hog heaven having a million sports channels to watch all the opening games! That afternoon we went to a football party at my friend Kirstens house. She had spent a lot of time getting the Texas Longhorn game on pay per view and organizing a party of a bunch of my old HS friends and their kids and significant others. Well all her hard work paid off because we had a GREAT time! We even got an afternoon monsoon that cooled things off and made being outside so nice. Austin was decked out in his UT garb and I of course had a blast. Shea was happy to be watching his game--and even though the Longhorns played "sloppy", they won so all was well! It was great for me to finally introduce my hubby to the girls who had not met him--and of course everyone got to meet Austin for the first time. It was really cool to be with all of them and just sit back and see how we all have grown so much. It was such a fabulous time!!
